Hi, I’m Stephanie, founder of The Calm Mind Studio and a qualified Solution Focused Hypnotherapist (BSc, PGCE, DSFH, HPD). But more than that - I’m a woman who has stood where many of my clients start: stuck in self-doubt, quietly battling low confidence and anxiety, and holding back from the life I knew I was capable of living.

 

For years, I felt like I was getting in my own way. I knew I had potential, but something invisible always seemed to be keeping me small. Then came a powerful turning point: my experience with hypnobirthing. I used it throughout each of my three pregnancies and went on to have three completely natural, calm, pain-relief-free home births. Those beautiful, empowering moments opened my eyes to the incredible strength of the mind when it’s supported - rather than silenced.

 

That experience lit a fire in me. I became fascinated by how hypnotherapy could help not just with birth, but with anxiety, confidence, stress, and so much more. As my children grew and I had the space to focus on my future career, I followed that pull and trained with CPHT, one of the UK’s most respected schools in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.

 

Today, I combine my background in science and education (BSc, PGCE), my passion for helping others, and my own lived experience to support people, who are ready to let go of what’s holding them back.

What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern, evidence-based form of therapeutic hypnosis that helps you move away from anxiety, stress, and negative thinking, and towards the life you want to lead. Rather than digging into the past, this approach focuses on your strengths, your goals, and the small, positive steps that move you forward.

At The Calm Mind Studio, our qualified clinical hypnotherapist uses a combination of solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) and guided relaxation techniques to help you access the calm, capable part of your mind. It’s safe, gentle, and highly effective for a range of issues including:​
